British Bakels, UK manufacturer and distributor of bread, pastry, cake and confectionery ingredients to the bakery trade, is launching a new range of icings under its Ta-Da! home baking brand. The new icings (including two variants that are ready-to-use) will be available for the retail and wholesale channels from 27 November. 

The three new icings, which are available in 370g recyclable pots, include Ta-Da! Madagascan Vanilla Icing (RRP £2.60), Chocolate Ganache Style Icing (RRP £2.60), and Millionaire’s Caramel (RRP £2.95). The Madagascan Vanilla and Chocolate Ganache Style variants are ready-to-use icings for fillings and decorating cakes, meaning they are extremely convenient and versatile. The Ta-Da! Madagascan Vanilla Icing contains vanilla beans for premium taste, while the Ta-Da! Chocolate Ganache Style Icing is rich in flavour and contains Rainforest Alliance Certified chocolate. The third new icing, Ta-Da! Millionaire’s Caramel, makes the iconic British Bakels Millionaire’s Caramel now available for home baking. Simply heated in a microwave and ready-to-use, Ta-Da! Millionaire’s Caramel is great for topping and filling shortbread and other sweet treats. Its rich and indulgent taste aligns with the continuing boom in brown flavours.

The new Ta-Da! Icings – Madagascan Vanilla Icing, Chocolate Ganache Style Icing and Millionaire’s Caramel –will be available to buy in Tesco Extra stores nationwide from 27 November, marking the Ta-Da! brand’s first retailer listing. A new stockist locator tool has been installed on the Ta-Da! website to guide consumers to their local Ta-Da! Tesco stockist.
