Mars, Incorporated has officially announced the construction of a groundbreaking baking facility for Nature’s Bakery in Salt Lake City, Utah. Valued at $237 million, this cutting-edge establishment will cover a vast expanse of 339,000 square feet and is slated for full operation by July 2025.
Nature’s Bakery, established in 2011 and headquartered in Reno, Nevada, has rapidly ascended to become a dominant force in the granola and snack bar industry, boasting the accolade of being the eighth best-selling and fastest-growing brand in a market exceeding $4 billion. Following its acquisition by Mars, Incorporated in 2020, the company has championed the infusion of real, plant-based ingredients into its on-the-go snacks, earning recognition for its dairy-free, nut-free, and Non-GMO Project Verified products.
