British Bakels is adding a range of exciting fruit fillings to their Ta-Da! home baking range, launched Direct to Consumer last summer through their consumer website www.tadahomebaking.com.

Crafted by bakery experts with over 115 years of baking know-how, Ta-Da! offers a range of sweet and savoury mixes and, now fillings, for everyone, whether it’s their first bake or their 100th, to enjoy.

Available from June, Ta-Da!’s new fruit fillings are packed with whole fruit pieces and include Strawberry, Dark Cherry and Wild Blueberry. They are suitable for vegans and ready to use straight from the pouch. Created for use with Ta-Da!’s sweet baking mixes, consumers can enjoy the delicious taste of whole strawberry, cherry, or blueberry pieces, in and on their favourite cakes and muffins. Ta-Da! is also launching a new Lemon Creamy filling, with a deliciously smooth texture, simply perfect for home bakers to add a pop of flavour to their favourite bakes. Ta-Da! Lemon Creamy filling is free from egg, non-dairy, free from palm oil, and contains no artificial flavours.

The fillings are super simple to use at home, have high versatility and bake stability and come with recyclable packaging, so bakers can treat their family and friends and be kind to the planet as well. All four new fillings, Strawberry, Dark Cherry, Wild Blueberry, and Lemon Creamy, are also freeze-thaw stable, ready for consumers to bake their favourite creations, then freeze to enjoy later. 

Across the age groups, according to Innova’s 2022 – Flavour Insider: Trends in Fruit Flavours report,the flavour aspects most influencing consumer food and beverage choices reflect our desire for a blend of new sensations and nostalgia, which the new fruit fillings offer to consumers. Familiar flavours come top (47%), followed by traditional and nostalgic flavours (37%) and comforting flavours (34%), ahead of new, unique, and different flavours (26%).
