Kells launch new mix

Kells, the Irish millers and bakery experts, has launched its new Sydney Donut mix that delivers premium quality, yeasted donuts with excellent shelf life that are easy to make and hassle free. The versatile mix has been designed for a ‘no time dough’ approach that is suitable for scaling and moulding or sheeting and cutting. Only yeast and water needs to be added to the mix, making the process both simple and fast.

The new Irish made blend has minimal oil pick up with no added preservatives, colours or flavours, producing a light textured donut with extended crumb softness, and it only takes just over an hour following the recommended method. The dough is robust and tolerant and delivers a product with minimal surface wrinkling that can be finished in store in many ways. Multiple finishes include different types of filling such as jam or fresh cream or icing.
