IPCO – Hall A6, Stand 131
Increasing bake oven versatility
Leading belt manufacturer IPCO will use this year’s iba to highlight the production benefits of its solid and perforated steel bake oven belts
IPCO, previously operating as Sandvik Process Systems and now an independent company within the Sweden-based Wallenberg group, is the world’s largest manufacturer of steel belts and supplied its first bake oven belt for use in a continuously operating bake oven in 1925.
Today the company produces bake oven belts for industrial bakeries the world over, and works closely with oven builders to ensure maximum operational reliability and, in turn, productivity.
Among the key benefits of a solid or perforated bake oven is the ability to produce multiple product types on a single line. These include cookies, crackers, biscuits, pizza bases, part-baked bread, energy bars and more, enabling bakeries to broaden their ranges and expand into new markets.
IPCO’s manufacturing capabilities enable the production of bake oven belts from 800 mm to 3500 mm wide. This means that wide bake ovens can be used to increase production without having to invest in new facilities.
Solid and perforated bake oven belts also offer lower maintenance, easier cleaning and a substantially longer working life than other belt materials, and these production benefits are further enhanced by IPCO’s ability to offer process expertise and engineering support.
The company supplies a comprehensive range of conveyor accessories including tracking devices, tensioners and skid bars. Its innovative salt-based QuickCleaner system offers a fast, easy and safe way of removing carbon residues and potentially hazardous acrylamide from steel belt conveyors used in bake ovens.
IPCO will also be demonstrating its latest stainless steel conveyor unit, a food-grade system with applications across the entire food processing sector.
IPCO will be exhibiting at this year’s iba show between the 15th and 20th of September. Pay them a visit at Hall A6, Stand 131.
